Blood Pressure opens theatrically in Toronto, rolling out in theaters across Canada

Jonas Chernick stars in the critically-acclaimed psychological thriller Blood Pressure, which opens today in Toronto at The Royal, moving to The Carlton for a second week. The film premiered at the 2012 Busan International Film Festival and wowed audiences at the Whistler Film Festival and the Kingston Canadian Film Festival before opening theatrically in Winnipeg in early March. The film will play theatrically in cities incuding Kamloops, Port Moody, Calgary, Regina, Waterloo, Halifax and Saskatoon over the next few weeks. In the film, Chernick stars as "Darryl Saunders", a mysterious stranger whose life intersects in dangerous and unexpected ways with a bored 40-something housewife after she starts receiving anonymous notes. Tonight and tomorrow's screenings at The Royal (both at 7:00 p.m.) will feature a live conversation with director Sean Garrity and several members of the cast - including Chernick - following the movie.
