My Awkward Sexual Adventure leads with six nominations at 2013 Canadian Comedy Awards

Jonas Chernick has been nominated for Best Writing in a Film for his screenplay for My Awkward Sexual Adventure, which picked up a leading six nominations for the 14th annual Canadian Comedy Awards, to be held on October 6, 2013 in Ottawa. Other nominees from the film include Best Female Performance nominees Emily Hampshire and Sarah Manninen, Best Male Performance nominee Vik Sahay, Best Direction in a Film nominee Sean Garrity and Best Film. The movie will be released on VOD, DVD and digital platforms in Canada on July 9, 2013 in Canada and is currently available on digital platforms in the USA, with a DVD and Netflix release slated for July 30, 2013.
