The Best Laid Plans wins three Directors Guild of Canada awards

CBC's critically acclaimied mini-series The Best Laid Plans picked up three DGC Awards tonight, for Best TV Movie / Mini-Series, Best Picture Editing and Best Sound Editing. The series, starring Jonas Chernick as Daniel Addison, aired on the CBC in January and February 2014, and was based on the award-winning book by author Terry Fallis.
