My Awkward Sexual Advenutre sells remake rights to four more countries
Banana-Moon Sky Films and julijette Inc. announced today that they have sold remake rights for their 2012 hit comedy film My Awkward Sexual Adventure to four more countries. Producers in Poland, Russia, Ukraine and India have optioned the rights to remake the film in their respective countries. The original My Awkward Sexual Adventure was written by, produced by and starred Jonas Chernick, and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and was named one of the TIFF Top Ten movies of the year. It won audience awards at Calgary and Whistler Film Festival, and won two Canadian Comedy Awards. Remake rights had previously been sold to South Korea, France and Lithuania, where the completed film (called Nepatyres) was released theatrically in 2015 and went on to become the second highest grossing film in Lithuania that year.
