James Vs His Future Self premieres in Canada on iTunes and VOD
Currently nominated for four Canadian Screen Awards including Best Supporting Actor (Daniel Stern) and Best Original Screenplay (Jonas Chernick & Jeremy LaLonde), the sci-fi comedy feature film James Vs His Future Self premieres today in Canada, on iTunes and VOD. The film was slated to have a wide theatrical release on Cineplex screens across Canada, but due to the closure of cinemas during the Covid-19 pandemic, the film instead has been released on digital and VOD streaming services. The movie is coming off a successful festival run, picking up four awards at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival, opening the Edmonton International Film Festival, premiering to sold-out crowds in the US at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and premiering in Europe at the prestigous Glasgow Film Festival. The US release is slated for May 1, 2020 and the film will be released in the UK on Sky TV on April 27, 2020.
