Borealis to open theatrically across Canada, starting in April

Sean Garrity's award winning Borealis, produced by, written by, and starring Jonas Chernick, will open in theatres across Canada, starting April 8, 2016 at the Carlton and Kingsway Cinemas in Toronto. The following week, the film will open at Grant Park Cinema in Winnipeg, followed by a steady roll-out across the country in several markets, including a May 27 opening at the Mayfair Theatre in Ottawa. Borealis recently screened at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival, was nominated for a 2016 Canadian Screen Award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects, and was given a Special Jury Mention at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
