James vs His Future Self starts production in Sudbury
Cameras are rolling on the sci-fi comedy James vs His Future Self, written by Jonas Chernick and Jeremy LaLonde, directed by LaLonde, and produced by Chernick, Jordan Walker and Jonathan Bronfman. Chernick stars as James alongside veteran comedic actor Daniel Stern (Home Alone, City Slickers, Diner), Cleopatra Coleman (The Last Man on Earth) and Tommie-Amber Pirie (The Go-Getters). In the film, Chernick plays a time-travel obsessed scientist who is tormented by his future, time-travelling self (Stern) who warns him to give up his pursuits to avoid a life of lonliness and misery. AMP International is currently selling the film at the Cannes Market, and Northern Banner Releasing will be distributing the movie in Canada. Production wraps up on June 8.
