James Vs His Future Self announced as Opening Night Gala Film at Edmonton International Film Festival
The 33rd annual Edmonton International Film Festival announced today that it will open with Jeremy LaLonde's sci-fi comedy feature James Vs His Future Self. LaLonde's fifth feature stars Jonas Chernick as James, a time-travelling obsessed scientist on the verge of a major discovery, who is confronted by his off-kilter future self, played by veteran actor Daniel Stern (Home Alone, City Slickers, Diner). Chernick also wrote the screenplay with LaLonde, and produced alongside Jordan Walker and Jonathan Bronfman. The film will be featured as the Opening Night Gala as the festival kicks off on September 26, 2019, and both LaLonde and Chernick will be in attendance. More festival announcements for the film will follow in the next few weeks.
