James Vs His Future Self to have US premiere at Santa Barbara, several other festival dates announced
James Vs His Future Self, starring, co-written by, and produced by Jonas Chernick, and directed by Jeremy LaLonde, will have its US premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival this week, screening in the Independent Competition. Chernick, LaLonde and star Daniel Stern (Home Alone, City Slickers, Hulu's Shrill) will be in attendance, walking the red carpet and introducing the film. The sci-fi comedy has also been added to the lineups of several additional film festivals, including the San Francisco Independent Film Festival, Panic Fest in Kansas City, the Available Light Film Festival in Whitehorse, Yukon, and will be the Opening Night Film at the Reel Canadian Film Festival in Fernie, BC and the Closing Night Film at the Invermere Film Festival. The film, which recently picked up four awards at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival, will have its soon-to-be-announced European and Latin American premieres in the spring.
