The Prague Orgy screens at Moscow International Film Festival and Austin Jewish Film Festival
International and US premieres for director Irena Pavlaskova's feature film The Prague Orgy have rolled out in the past few weeks, in Moscow and Austin. The film, starring Jonas Chernick as Philip Roth's literary alter ego 'Nathan Zuckerman', opened theatrically in Czech Republic and Slovakia on hundreds of screens last year, and premieres next month on Czech TV. The movie had its international premiere last month at the Moscow International Film Festival, where Pavlaskova has won several awards for her previous work, and had its US premiere this week at the Austin Jewish Film Festival. Chernick stars in the adaptation of the Roth novel, which was shot in and around Prague in late 2018, and which continues to screen at festivals around the world.
