The End of Sex starts production in Hamilton, Ontario
Cameras have started rolling on the sexy rom-com The End of Sex, starring and written by Jonas Chernick, and directed by Sean Garrity. The indie feature reunites Chernick with lead actress Emily Hampshire, who starred opposite him in the award-winning 2012 feature My Awkward Sexual Adventure, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and which was also directed by Garrity. The three also collaborated on the 2015 feature Borealis, which was the Opening Night Gala Film at the Brooklyn Film Festival and won a Special Jury Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The End of Sex is produced by Justin Rebelo and Sally Karam, of Vortex Productions, and co-stars Gray Powell, Melanie Scrofano and Lily Gao. Production is scheduled to wrap at the end of January.
