The End of Sex to world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival
The End of Sex, written by and starring Jonas Chernick, will have its world premiere at TIFF 2022. The sexy romantic comedy stars Chernick and Emily Hampshire (Schitt's Creek) as a married couple whose children go off to camp for the first time, inspiring them to try and rekindle their sexual connection. Sean Garrity directed the feature film, which was shot in early 2022 in Hamilton, Ontario, and which is produced by Justin Rebelo and Sally Karam of Vortex Films. Garrity, Chernick and Hampshire were at TIFF in 2011 with their previous sexy rom-com My Awkward Sexual Adventure which was ultimately named to the TIFF Top Ten List in 2012, and won audience awards at the Calgary and Whistler film festivals. The End of Sex will be released theatrically in 2023.
