Negative Capability starts production in Toronto

Writer / director Jesse Zigelstein's sophomore feature film, Negative Capability, commences production today in Toronto, Canada. The film, Zigelstein's follow-up to his award-winning 2018 feature debut Nose To Tail, stars Jonas Chernick as "Joel", a college English teacher and failed novelist struggling through a mid-life crisis and existential reckoning. Zigelstein writes, directs and produces the dramedy, which also stars Sara Canning (The Burning Season), Romi Shraiter (Ginny & Georgia), Gord Rand (Transplant) and Athena Karkanis (Manifest). The feature is slated to wrap production in early November, and is eyeing a fall 2024 release.
