Gravitas Ventures picks up international rights to The Burning Season

Gravitas Ventures has picked up the international rights to Sean Garrity's feature film The Burning Season, starring, written and produced by Jonas Chernick. Gravitas will release the film on Dec. 10, 2024, day and date with Northern Banner, who are releasing the film in Canada. The Burning Season recently picked up a trio of Best Screenplay Awards, at the Canadian Film Festival, the Whistler Film Festival, and at the Writers Guild of Canada Awards. Also starring Sara Canning and Joe Pingue, The Burning Season premiered at Whistler in 2023, and had its international premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival in March 2024.
